Wish you all a happy sankranthi..
Ingredients:
. Milk- 2cups
. Rice- 1 cup
. Water- 2.5 cups
. Jaggery- 1 cup
. Cashew nuts and raisins- 2tbsp
. Ghee- 1tbsp
Method:
1. Soak the rice abt 30 minutes and pressure cook till 3 vissles.
2. Once the pressure is released, switch on the stove, add milk and let it cook for 5mts.
3. Add jaggery to it, mix well and cook abt 3mts.
4. In a pan, add ghee and fry the nuts till golden colour and add them to the sweet, Mix well.
The Sweet rice pongal or Parvannam is ready to be served.
